A reply gets read for what it actually says, in the language it was written in, before the AI answers it.

A canned FAQ response to a real objection is the fastest way to lose a warm prospect. The AI reads what actually came back and responds to that — not to a keyword it matched.
Automation acts only on an unambiguous positive reply. A "maybe" or a polite hedge is held for a human to handle personally — the system does not force an automated close on an answer that isn't really one.
A polite closing remark — "thanks, not right now" — is left in respectful silence instead of getting an awkward automated follow-up crammed in behind it. Reading the room is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Pricing questions, scope questions, "how is this different from X" — the AI answers the actual question asked, drawing on the product catalogue, rather than redirecting to a generic brochure link.
